Crop to fill or fit inside?

Crop to fill always gives exactly 1000×1000 pixels by trimming the edges that don’t match the shape, keeping the centre of the photo. Fit inside keeps the whole picture and scales it so neither side exceeds 1000×1000, which may leave one side shorter.
