How to convert any image to JPG
- Choose or drop your images above. PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and SVG all work.
- Adjust quality if needed. 90% keeps excellent detail.
- Download each JPG, or save them all as a ZIP.
One tool for every format
Instead of looking for a separate converter for each file type, use this page for any image. The tool opens whatever your browser can read and saves a JPG, which is the most widely accepted image format for photos, forms, email and social sites.
What you can convert
- PNG screenshots and graphics. Transparent areas turn white.
- WebP images saved from websites.
- AVIF images from modern sites and phones.
- GIF images. Animated GIFs become one still frame.
- BMP and SVG files. SVG is drawn at the size you set.
Choosing the quality
The default 90% gives a very good picture at a modest size. Photos look the same at 75 to 80% with a smaller file. For logos and text, keep it at 90% or above. If a form sets a limit in KB, use compress image to 100KB or the online compression tool.
Specific converters
If you know the exact format, the dedicated pages explain the details: PNG to JPG, WebP to JPG, AVIF to JPG, SVG to JPG, JFIF to JPG and BMP to JPG.
Privacy, speed and file names
Every image file is opened and saved as JPG inside your browser, so nothing is uploaded and conversion starts right away. Speed depends on your device, not your connection. Results are named after the original with “-tech9pros” added, so your originals are never overwritten. SVG and AVIF files work as long as your browser can open them.
Converting many files
Select up to 30 files at once and download them one by one or as a single ZIP. If you change a setting, the files are converted again with the new value, so you can try a different quality without adding them again.
If something goes wrong
If a file will not open, it may be in a format your browser cannot read, such as RAW camera files. Convert it with the camera software first.
Frequently asked questions
Which image types can I convert to JPG?
Any type your browser can open, including PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and SVG. HEIC only works in browsers that can read it, such as Safari.
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
JPG has no transparency, so see-through areas are filled with white.
Does converting to JPG reduce quality?
JPG is lossy, but at 90% the loss is hard to see in photos. Use a higher setting for graphics with fine lines.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing leaves your device.
