How to convert JPG to PNG
- Choose or drop one or more JPG files above.
- Conversion starts right away. Resize first if you need smaller dimensions.
- Download each PNG, or save them all as a ZIP.
Should you convert JPG to PNG?
PNG is lossless, so further edits and re-saves won’t add new compression damage. It’s the standard for design tools, presentations and some upload forms. PNG files are larger than JPGs, and converting can’t restore detail the JPG already lost.
Frequently asked questions
Will converting to PNG make my image transparent?
No. JPG has no transparency, so the PNG keeps the same solid background. Removing a background is a separate step.
Why is the PNG file bigger?
PNG stores every pixel without lossy compression, so photos usually become several times larger. That’s expected.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to Tech9Pros or anyone else, so the tool also works with private photos and documents.
Can I process several images at once?
Yes. Select or drop up to 30 images together. Each one gets its own download button, and you can save them all as a single ZIP file.
