How to use the image compressor
- Choose or drop your images. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF are supported.
- Pick a quality, or enter a target size in KB. Optionally resize or change the format.
- Download the compressed images or save them all as a ZIP.
Which format compresses best?
For photos, WebP gives the smallest files, followed by JPEG. PNG is best kept for screenshots, logos and graphics with transparency. Choose “Same as original” to keep each file’s format.
Frequently asked questions
Can I compress PNG files?
Yes. PNG keeps every pixel exact, so resizing is the main way to make it smaller. Converting a photo saved as PNG to JPEG or WebP usually cuts the size dramatically.
Does it remove EXIF and location data?
Yes. Saving through the tool writes a fresh image file without the original EXIF metadata, which includes camera details and GPS location.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to Tech9Pros or anyone else, so the tool also works with private photos and documents.
Can I process several images at once?
Yes. Select or drop up to 30 images together. Each one gets its own download button, and you can save them all as a single ZIP file.
